LeAnn Rimes ~ A “Gossip Girl?”

LeAnn Rimes is a busy woman lately…she’s been on tour all summer, she celebrated her birthday and anniversary, she joined a cancer benefit, she did a PSA for Psoriasis, she performed at the Republican National Convention, and she’s thinking expanding of her family…but she’s not too busy to try out a little bit of acting. In fact, LeAnn has her ideal role all picked out! She’d love to star along side her husband’s obsession, Blake Lively, in Gossip Girl. LeAnn says “My husband is obsessed with Blake Lively. She’s such a doll. I think she’s such a cute little girl and the actors are great and the story lines are really good.” LeAnn won’t limit her acting to the small screen though, she also said that she’s currently looking for film roles. Of the switch from singing to acting LeAnn says “Every video I do, I think I do more and more acting in them, which is kind of setting the stage to do more and more film.”

What do you think…could LeAnn be successful heading from the singing stage to the acting stage?! She seems very talented all around so we think she’d do great!
