When Carrie Underwood got the call to headline a quaint music festival called Live in the Vineyard Goes Country out in the heart of wine country, she jumped right on the bill and took her husband along with her to experience the beauty of Napa Valley.
The country star completely obliged her place as the main singer of the mid-week celebration by stunning everyone in attendance with her powerful vocals. But she also used her down time during the three-day fest to soak up the view of the vineyards ranging everywhere the eye could see as well as taste a sip or two of the sweet nectars served at the fancy wineries.
“Napa Valley, you are my happy place! Amazing wine, beautiful scenery, wonderful friends, new places and a yummy dinner created by @chefchiarello and his apprentice, Isaiah Fisher! And that was just the first day here! Life is good…❤️❤️❤️ #napavalley #winetime #happy#IMarriedUp (And, thanks, @hunterpremo for letting me borrow your jacket!),” Underwood wrote about the beautiful photo collection.
Posing next to her knight in shining armor, Mike Fisher, with a picturesque view in the background, Underwood was all smiles throughout the getaway. She even grabbed a quick snapshot in a wine barrel room during her adventures and let her little boy, Isaiah, get his hands dirty in the kitchen while watching a chef prepare a nice dinner for the family.
Underwood’s current single, “Cry Pretty,” is available now.
