Cassadee Pope is having one heck of a whirlwind year after the mighty success of her duet with Chris Young, “Think of You.” After the single blew up on the radio, Pope’s career just kept going up and up with no looking back. Taking note of her newfound busy schedule, the “Summer” singer squeezes in some quality time when she’s back at home in Nashville.

Keeping close to some of her favorite spots around town, Pope let Sounds Like Nashville in where she likes to hang out in Music City during her down time. From hiking to eating all the junk food, Pope told us her five Nashville Favorites and we’ve got the major scoop about them all.

Here are Cassadee Pope’s Nashville Favorites:

Garden Brunch Café: 924 Jefferson St / gardenbrunchcafe.com
“It is insanely busy now so it’s really hard to even get brunch there, but one of my favorite brunch spots in Nashville is called Garden Brunch Café. It’s family-owned, it’s been there for about seven years. The owner is this sweet, sweet Southern woman and her whole family works there and it’s just a really cool environment. But be ready to wait like two hours! But it’s worth it, it’s really worth it. It’s really good.”

12th and Porter: 114 12th Ave N / 12andporter.com
“If I can put a music one in there, I love going to 12th and Porter. That’s a really fun venue. I actually went there to go see a band called Nightly and they were really cool. There wasn’t a lot of people there; it was more of like a showcase for them. But I really enjoyed going back to that environment, you know the rock club venues, and I loved seeing a band that’s kind of just starting out because they’re super excited and I love seeing when people are still in that frame of mind ‘cause it’s just like you’re seeing somebody grow right in front of your eyes. That’s the band, Nightly, was really good.”

Percy Warner Park: 7311 US Hwy 100 / nashville.gov/parks-and-recreation/parks/warner-parks.aspx
“As far as hiking and stuff, the Percy Warner Park is really beautiful. I got there every once in a while. It’s been really hot for me, so I’m waiting until it gets a little nicer and crisp.”

Clyde’s on Church: 1700 Church St / clydesonchurch.com
“I love junk food. I went to Clyde’s recently, which was really great. Clyde’s is awesome. It’s got a ton of games and board games and also just like foozball and all this awesome stuff in there. So it’s kinda like an adult playground.”

12th South Neighborhood:
“I love that 12th South area like going to Josephine for dinner or something. Even like going to Frothy Monkey for a cup of coffee. But I guess I should pick one. Frothy Monkey! I’ll go with that. That park over there, I don’t even know what it’s called. The 12th South Park, I guess? By the school! It’s this really nice place to go with like a cup of coffee and just take a little walk.”
