On the screen, the cast of Nashville spends plenty of time in Music City. Once the cameras turn off, many of the actors and actresses still call this town home. So what are some of their hometown favorites?

Sounds Like Nashville caught up with Chris Carmack, Charles Esten and Clare Bowen and got their off-screen Nashville favorites. And now, you can live just like the stars.

Tootsie’s (Esten): “If you’re in another mood then maybe you go by Tootsie’s. That’s a different mood entirely. People wonder if I can go down to Broadway, yeah generally we just go and I keep my head down, pick the spot where we want to go to and people are real kind and might say hi and might take a picture or two but after that you just get to enjoy the night,” Esten shares. He also let us in on a little secret to avoid the pending hangover. “Avoid the shots. I get a triple jack, no ice, no nothing. I sip on that all night from a giant tumbler.”

Germantown (Bowen): “Germantown has kind of exploded a little bit, it has beautiful walking neighborhoods. Fifth and Taylor is the place I can go to, and Rolf and Daughters. I’m a celiac and a vegetarian so they’re always really accommodating and it’s kind of embarrassing when you go into a new restaurant and you’re like I’m really sorry I can’t eat this and this and this, and I’m like no really. I’ll go to the ER. All of the restaurants in Nashville have been so accommodating about that.”

The Ryman (Esten): “I find it hard to beat the Ryman or the Grand Ole Opry or the Blue Bird, so again it’s your mood. It’s who’s playing. There are so many great places honestly. That’s the one thing I learned about this town quickly is that on any given night you can go see one of the best shows you’ve ever seen and you still miss two others. The classics are right there.”

The 404 Kitchen (Carmack): “I just ate there last night and I think it might be one of my new favorite spots, it’s the 404 restaurant in the Gulch. It’s connected to a little boutique hotel. Anyway the food was fantastic, the drinks were fantastic.”

Little Harpeth River (Esten): “For me it’s not so much getting away from the city, I’m outside a little bit in Brentwood. But to get away from everything, just mostly being with my family walking the dog, maybe we go somewhere near the Little Harpeth River and we got a little spot where we can throw a ball right in the stream. That’s a little bit of heaven right there where you’re just ankle deep in that stream and the dogs running and you’re surrounded by the people you love. I don’t got to go far.”
