Easton Corbin Taste Tests Chili in Cincinnati for ‘Easton Eats’

While out on the road with Carrie Underwood for the Storyteller Tour, Easton Corbin has been experimenting with the favorite local flavors in each city they stop in. In the latest episode of “Easton Eats,” premiering exclusively on Sounds Like Nashville, Corbin tried out Cincinnati’s most famous food, chili.

Taste-testing between four bowls of the Midwestern comfort food, he grabbed a spoonful of each to see which was his ultimate favorite. Critiquing the flavors and the consistency of each scoop, he tended to find himself going more toward the thinner textured chili rather than the heartier stuff.

In the end, the country star found his chili choice with Goldstar Chili, which is actually based in Cincinnati. Selling its delicacy throughout Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, many people find themselves loving its sweet flavor and kicking aftertaste, just as Corbin did.

The competition between chilis also brought out brands like Hormel, Dixie Chili and another Cincinnati favorite, Skyline Chili. Locals in Cincinnati rave over how good Skyline is and how it’s a staple to any citizen’s diet in that city.

“Easton Eats” has also brought Corbin to try out the best hot chicken in Nashville and the signature fair food of funnel cakes while hanging out before a show in Ohio.

The “Are You With Me” singer will finish out his time on the Storyteller Tour throughout the next few weeks of the year. Fans can find tickets and information about the tour on Corbin’s website.
