Life on the road can be pretty hectic. Just ask Jon Pardi.

The “Head Over Boots” singer is quite the road warrior. After opening for the legendary Alan Jackson on his 25th Anniversary tour, Pardi headlined his very own All Time High Tour with special guests Brothers Osborne and is gearing up to play countless fairs and festivals this summer.

When he’s off the road, Pardi likes to unwind the best way he knows how: on his farm just outside of Music City. Whether he’s relaxing with a cold beer, playing with his two dogs, Cowboy and Gus, or operating a bulldozer to clear his land, Pardi happily soaks up the farm life in his down time.

Sounds Like Nashville recently spent a day on the farm with the California native, where he opened up about life off the road, introduced us to his father, who was in town to help do some work on the farm, and gave us a tour of his Tennessee sanctuary. Check out the video above for a glimpse at a day in the life of Jon Pardi.

Pardi’s much-anticipated new album, California Sunrise, drops June 17.
