Before you start gagging and refusing the lean green smoothie machine, the truth is that it won’t be just like drinking a salad. For this guilt-free meal or snack, the recipe itself says it’s just like that of a tangy creamsicle subbing out lime for orange. One word: delicious.

Vanilla Lime Green Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes

Mix time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup spinach leaves, packed
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • ½ banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp. lime juice
  • ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½-1 cup ice (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place all of the ingredients together, sans ice, in the blender. Start to puree until smooth.
  2. Add the ice and continue to blend until the entire contents are completely smooth.
  3. Pour and drink up!
