The country star recently teamed up with decorator Elsie Larson to revamp her space into something she could enjoy and relax in during her time off.
New year, new you—or at least Kacey Musgraves applied that motto to her living room area in her brand new Nashville home as she went for a modern makeover with a touch of prim and proper.

Putting Musgraves’ quirky style and deep love of all things vintage to test, her living room was soon transformed into a mid-century modern masterpiece with a little bit of Texas flair.

From the unique gold rod light fixture reminiscent of something one might find in The Jetsons cartoon to the minimalistic blush pink couch, Musgraves and Larson created a light and airy space with clean lines for the ultimate trendy hangout. Cacti and other random greenery add life to the room in each and every corner to compliment the hues of light pinks throughout the entire room.

It was also all about the little details to make her house a home when it came to every nook and cranny in the entry. Stacking music books upon the shelf-lined wall around the fireplace or setting her GRAMMY trophy alongside some retro pieces, Musgraves accentuated every design in the area with her personality written all over it.
Whether the “Follow Your Arrow” star wants to put on a record or enjoy a night in with her fiancé, it’s clear that her living room will surely turn into the place to be.
