Jason Aldean may be the latest country star to open a bar on Lower Broadway in Nashville, TN after the Nashville Business Journal revealed metro filings featuring the star’s name.

While the superstar, nor his team, has not confirmed the news, the Journal reports that filings for a concept named Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar are in the works. Ohio-based restaurant operator TC Restaurant Group reportedly bought the building located at 305-311 Broadway as a base for the new bar. Currently, the building houses the honky tonks Tequila Cowboy and WannaB’s Karaoke Bar.

In a press release, the company shared news of a “multimillion-dollar expansion and soon-to-be-announced new venues,” which includes the addition of a fourth-story rooftop bar and an enlargement of the building by approximately 45 percent.

Fans may be familiar with the work of the TC Restaurant Group because the organization recently help open FGL House, located on Third Avenue South. The restaurant and entertainment space was opened in partnership with Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line.

The report, the Nashville Business Journal says, did not share whether or not Tequila Cowboy would shut down or remain open as part of the new endeavor.

Should the plan move forward, Aldean would be the latest country star to make a mark on downtown Nashville. In addition to Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, the popular tourist destination features venues from Dierks Bentley, John Rich, Alan Jackson, Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton.
