Miranda Lambert Sends the Ultimate Pet Care Package to Carrie Underwood

With the bond Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert have developed over the years, we’ve got a really good feeling something good is about to happen after the adorable gift Lambert just sent to Underwood.
All lyric puns aside, Lambert sent Underwood a little love through the form of a few MuttNation Foundation treats for her dogs, Ace and Penny. Stacked up to the brim with chew toys, bandanas and stuffed animals, the care package looks to be the ultimate way to win over both the dogs’ and Underwood’s hearts. A good deed like that doesn’t go unnoticed for Underwood, as she sent back a message of love for Lambert via a cute Instagram shoutout.

While Underwood is a mom to baby Isaiah, her pups are also her pride and joy as she cherished them by taking them out on the road and spoiling them here and there. As for Lambert, she isn’t just the owner of her many dogs, but she also gives back to the pet community through her MuttNation Foundation, which was founded back in 2009.
MuttNation Foundation is completely funded through donations to help end animal cruelty, neglect and homelessness, according to its website. Lambert has hosted a number of events to raise awareness for the animals, including her Cause for the Paws night and her Redemption Ranch, which is a safe, no-kill shelter in her home state of Oklahoma.
Underwood is currently out on the Storyteller Tour before heading to Australia with Keith Urban on the December leg of the Ripcord Tour, while Lambert is on the brink of releasing her much anticipated double album, The Weight of These Wings, on November 18.
