For the first time, Parmalee got close to making some kind of sense in their new term coined for “The Country Dictionary.”

Describing a new word or phrase every week in what they like to call ‘Parmalisms,’ the guys of the country band dissect their Southern slang for fans and listeners alike to understand what they’re saying behind the scenes when it seems as if their language is rather gibberish.

In this week’s episode, the guys break down the term ‘dog bed’ and discuss that it’s not where a pup sleeps its day away, but rather a comfy piece of attire to throw on during a chilly day.

“A 100-percent cotton hooded sweatshirt, zip-up or pullover,” they explained in the hilarious quick clip.

The origin behind the band’s term dives even deeper to its true meaning, by claiming that leaving such a warm piece of clothing laying behind on a couch or something similar will end up being used as a place for a man’s best friend to take a little nap on.

Making the term even more logical was the fact that one of the band member’s fathers used to leave ratty old sweatshirts out on the front porch after they got overly sweaty and smelled too much to be kept inside the house.

Be sure to tune in next week to see what new ‘Parmalisms’ the band will be teaching their fans!
