"The great thing is that the team behind the show really, really strive to find actors who have a love of music, and we all do,” Palladio says.

It’s no surprise that Sam Palladio of ABC’s Nashville goes out and about in Music City from time to time. The native Brit takes advantage of adventuring around the city, seeking out the coolest spots to hang out and the best shows to see.

But what Palladio really enjoys is the opportunity to be involved in the music scene of Nashville. Being able to play shows in various local venues has been a welcoming part of living here in Music City and Palladio feels thankful for those open arms.

“We’re just very lucky ‘cause I think a lot of us still think of ourselves as just these lucky actors that are playing these characters on a show about music, but the great thing is that the team behind the show really, really strive to find actors who have a love of music, and we all do,” said Palladio recently.

Palladio has even had the honor of performing at the legendary Grand Ole Opry since moving here for the show. Ironically enough, his success playing the role of Gunnar Scott on the show is taking him back to the UK in June for a mini-tour with ABC Nashville co-stars, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen and Chris Carmack.

Happy and honored to be a fixture in the Nashville community, Palladio has found a great place to call home in Music City.

A new episode of ABC’s Nashville premieres tonight at 10/9c.
