Throwback Thursday: Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, and Others Play ‘Jelly Bean Roulette’

2016 was full of country music festivals that spread from the east to the west coast. Among the impressive festivals was the Route 91 Harvest, a three-day festival in the heart of Las Vegas.
The lineup included performances from Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Billy Currington, Dustin Lynch, David Nail, Dan + Shay, among many others. Keeping in line with what Sin City is best known for, Sounds Like Nashville decided to convert the game Bean Boozled into a Vegas-themed round of Jelly Bean Roulette.
Stars including Bryan, Lynch, Dan + Shay, Nail, Brett Young, Granger Smith, Lindsay Ell, Brooke Eden and several others took part in spinning the wheel, taking a chance and hoping they’d land on a safe flavor.
For those unfamiliar, players spin a wheel and land on a jelly bean. Each bean has a possible two flavors it could be, but no way of safely identifying which is which. The player then eats the bean in hopes that they have the good flavor rather than the bad. In our game, the artists had the possibility of grabbing Juicy Pear or Booger, Licorice or Skunk Spray, Buttered Popcorn or Rotten Egg, Coconut or Baby Wipes, among several others.
Artists like Young and Courtney Cole were lucky in their picks, while others like Bryan and Chris Janson weren’t as fortunate. Watch what went down in the video above…
