Alright, alright, that may not be the typical fairytale people read about in books, but for Kelsea Ballerini and her fiancé, Morgan Evans, their whirlwind romance took the country couples world by storm.
From showing each other off on red carpets to jet-setting across the globe with one another, Ballerini and Evans have been inseparable since that fated March day when the two met (and co-hosted) for ‘The First Time.’ (Even love can be punny.)
On Christmas morning, Ballerini called a permanent ‘dibs’ on her man by giving him a huge yes to his proposal and it seems like the two are never looking back.

Ballerini and Evans made their tale as unique as they are by becoming co-hosts of an Australian country music awards show earlier in the spring of 2016. Who said mixing business with pleasure was a bad thing?

Although Evans may be a proud Australian native, he took the plunge with Ballerini to become a true Music City citizen by claiming the iconic phrase and mural, ‘I Believe in Nashville.’ Now home to Ballerini was not just the city she adopted for her career, but also the man by her side.

No true romance is complete without a beach getaway. Evans decided to give surf lessons with Ballerini a shot, even though she claimed in a hilarious hashtag that she was not coordinated enough for the water sport due to her landlubber skills. Although it’s safe to say Ballerini may not have kept her balance on the board, she still stayed on board with her boyfriend.
5. Paris, the city of love

With a few months under their belt, Ballerini and Evans booked a flight to the most romantic destination in the world: Paris. Kissing under the Eiffel Tower and exploring the beautiful French culture around every corner, the two looked happier than ever as they blossomed into one of country music’s cutest power couples.

The best accessory to sport on any red carpet is that shining piece of arm candy that everyone is eyeing. Rather than showing up dripping diamonds from her wrist or glitzing it up in gold, Ballerini kept her look for the CMA Awards simple with the support of Evans by her side. Nothing like your love to land you on the Best Dressed List, girl!

Ballerini herself has a lot to be thankful for. She snagged herself a Grammy nomination, she had a handful of No. 1 singles and opportunities flew into her lap aplenty. But at the end of the day, the country singer was truly grateful for one thing (or shall we say, person) in particular: her man.

Finally, Evans got the courage up as he bent down on one knee to ask Ballerini to be by his side for the rest of their lives. No surprise—Ballerini jumped for joy at the chance and became his bride to be on Christmas morning. Now the only question everyone is asking: when’s the wedding? Because we can hear the bells.
