Five Artists You Need To Follow On Snapchat

Brett Eldredge Mickey Guyton

There are a number of social media apps that country music artists turn to in order to keep up with fans, the most traditional being Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. But lately, more and more artists have been taking on a less traditional medium.

Snapchat is an app that allows users to send a 1-10 second photo or video to a list of followers. Users can also post stories, which live for only 24 hours, to their timeline. As more and more artists begin to jump on the Snapchat wagon, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite snapchatters that you need to follow right away for endless laughs!

Here are five country music artists that you need to follow on Snapchat:

Brett Eldredge

If being a professional country music artist doesn’t work out, we’re pretty sure Brett Eldredge will have a solid career as a professional snapchatter. He lovingly refers to the app as “Chat Snap” and is constantly posting pictures and videos of his high jinx. The “Lose My Mind” singer even used the app to give fans a sneak peek of his new album, Illinois!

Mickey Guyton

Mickey Guyton is still very much a country music newcomer and has most recently been out on the road with Brad Paisley (if you haven’t heard them sing “Whiskey Lullaby” together, get on YouTube now!). The powerhouse vocalist is hilarious and witty on the app and gives you another way to get to know her.

The Band Perry

The sibling trio has admitted quite openly that they have a severe addiction to social media and are constantly looking for stuff to post on Snapchat. The Band Perry loves giving fans a glimpse into their band and family life — it’s great seeing siblings get along so well, right?

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini has proven time and time again that she’s queen of the selflie, or “kelfie,” as she refers to it. Most of her snaps lately have been of her new puppy, Dibs… not that we’re complaining! Now if only Snapchat videos were longer than 10 seconds so we can get some make up tutorials from that girl!

Luke Bryan

Not only should you follow Luke Bryan because, duh, he’s Luke, but also because you get a chance to see the ACM and CMA Entertainer live! The superstar constantly posts “scavenger hunts,” and if you figure out the puzzle first, you’re heading to a Luke show!
