New Year’s Eve is the night to eat, drink and be merry…but especially, drink. With all of the sparkling cocktails and numerous champagne toasts throughout the night, the next morning on New Year’s Day always seems to look a little rough.

Have no fear for this year though as Jerrod Niemann is taking his own advice about partying too hard and sharing it along with his fans to get them through the nasty bottle flu. Although everyone heals in their own unique ways from the tolls of pounding headaches and gnarly visits to the bathroom (sorry, a tad TMI), Niemann came up with a solid five ways to ease the pain of what the morning holds for many after celebrating late into the evening on NYE.

Here are the five ways that Niemann suggests to cure those nasty hangovers and get on with all of the brand new beginnings that 2017 holds:

1. “Hair of the dog, obviously! Cheers to drinks that have fallen victim to being labeled breakfast. A Bloody Mary, some folks like mimosas, but I say…whiskey & eggs.”

2. “Road trip? Can’t go wrong with some BC powder and Gatorade!”

3. “I hear there’s a Dr. named Mary Jane you might call.”

4. “If your friends aren’t looking: water.”

5. “Sleep or no sleep can both work…just make sure you commit to one.”
