We’re only a few days into the New Year, which means that your New Year’s resolution is still (hopefully) going strong.

Although many people may not realize it, Nashville is quite the fitness town with new forms of workouts popping up on every corner. A lot of residents of Music City like to get their sweat on whenever they can spare the chance and enjoy some of the unique trends in getting fit. With countless studios and hardcore classes, some could find it difficult to seek out the best way to stay in shape for their likings.

Sounds Like Nashville has put together a master list of some of the hottest workouts in the city for those in need of a recharge. Check out some of the coolest and best spots to break a sweat at around Nashville:

HOTBOX – 125 12th Ave S / hb4.me

Kickboxing quite literally kicks your behind into gear. With HOTBOX, there is no exception to that rule. Focusing more on the movements and techniques than training for fights, participants put their hearts behind making their bodies work hard for a solid 60 minutes. HOTBOX is all about leaving everything on the mats from sweat to tears to dedication.

Orange Theory – 2104 Crestmoor Rd / orangetheoryfitness.com

If you’ve ever talked to someone who’s an avid Orange Theory member, they swear by their workouts and their results. This facility’s type of workout is all about personalization and making the time worthwhile for all those who want to stay in shape. Honing in on that all-too-well-known interval training, Orange Theory challenges its members to stay on their toes no matter what is thrown at them next.

Barry’s Bootcamp – 308 11th Ave S / barrysbootcamp.com

A well-rounded body is a healthy body in terms of Barry’s Bootcamp. It’s all about interactive strength training at this workout center and lots of it. Each day is specialized toward a different section of the body, keeping with the shock fitness factor of surprising your body in a healthy way. Also, this place is known for bumping up the jams so basically every workout is a party.

Climb Nashville – 3600 Charlotte Ave / climbnashville.com

Remember the days of being a kid where you would pounce at any opportunity at the county fair or theme park to scale a rock wall and hit that buzzer on the top? Well in Nashville, people can live out those nostalgic dreams by heading to Climb Nashville while also keeping in shape. Let’s be real: Climb Nashville ‘rocks,’ get it? The experience has become a favorite of Bobby Bones and Lindsay Ell, who have recently shared photos of themselves getting their workout on at the facility.

Shakti Power Yoga – 65 Music Square E / shaktiyoganashville.com

Get ready to sweat out all the feels you could ever imagine! This hot yoga studio offers classes of all levels throughout the week with regularly scheduled community classes for a mere $5. While their style of yoga may seem intimidating, have no fear—at Shakti, it’s all about finding your center and being free.

Krank Cycle – 2148 Bandywood Dr / kranknashville.com

When most people think of spin class, the first word that comes to mind is nightmare. That’s where this facility ‘kranked’ it up a notch and made cycling the cool thing to do in Music City. Turning the lights down low and the music up high, Krank Cycle encourages their riders to make their sweat session worthwhile and fun!

Pure Barre – 228 11th Ave S / purebarre.com

Who would have thought that the most basic of movements could sculpt a body into pure perfection? Pure Barre combines the simple moves of ballet with structured toning to work participants’ bodies out from head to toe. While there are no tutus twirling around in class, the results from this style of workout are magical nonetheless.
