In the digital age of advancing technology and important discoveries, it’s only fair that we utilize all of these incredible resources to post ugly selfies and document our life stories within 140 characters online. What a time to be alive!

Today, June 30, is Social Media Day and some of the biggest country stars take such great advantage of their resources via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the like. They know how to use the online outlets to reach their fans in another way as well as show off some creative skills we may not have known about if there was no such thing as Snapchat.

Throwing it back to the OG social media craze, we’ve picked our Top 8 (Myspace, anyone?) social media country stars that we wish would slide into our DMs and make sure that we RT our love for their posts. Check out the best of the best social media country stars:

Forget the coffee—all we need to wake up in the mornings is a little “Bedhead Jam” from Brett Eldredge and we’re good to go. Eldredge takes fans on all of the adventures with hilarious commentary along the way. Wishing we shared the ‘Super BFF’ emoji with him on his Best Friends list!

Blake SheltonTwitter Interacting with fans is huge now thanks to Twitter. It’s even better when Blake Shelton gets behind his Twitter handle and starts firing back responses that could leave anyone in tear-filled fit of laughter. He claims to be “drunk” half the time, but we think he’s just that funny all the time!

Facebook Live is Jake Owen’s jam. He always gives fans who follow him on his page the exclusive info whenever he livestreams his announcements out to the world. He even went so far as to protect his fans when he confronted some scammer over the phone for stealing his name…all captured live on his page.

Thomas RhettTwitter It’s kind of a sign that you are a devoted Twitter user when you win a Bobby Bones Twitter Race against fierce competition and that’s exactly what Thomas Rhett is all about. The always creative Rhett has worked very hard to earn his 713K followers. We mean, how could you not by posting adorable date night pictures of his wife all the time?

Carrie UnderwoodInstagram

Can we just be Carrie Underwood? Her Instagram posts show major love for her husband, her baby boy and her wonderful life, making us jealous one pic at a time. And her hashtag game? Don’t even get us started! It’s as #strong as all get out.

Bobby Bones

Stop whatever you are doing right now and go add Bobby Bones to your list of Snapchat friends (username: BobbyBonesShow). Bones never disappoints as he documents even the most embarrassing moments. Take, for example, his live Snapstory of his date with a woman in New York City. Talk about all access! And let’s not forget about his hilarious “banana report!”

Oh, nothing’s sweeter than summertime + @ladyantebellum…🐝
