It might not officially be the fall season yet, unless you count the PSL being back as the kick off to fall. Even though the air isn’t quite as crisp as we’d like it and leaves haven’t even started falling off trees, football season is officially back. This means one thing – tailgating.

Whether you’re getting ready to cheer on your favorite team or sing along to the songs of your favorite singer, you’ll need the perfect pre-event playlist to get you pumped up. Grab some grills, plenty of beer, and get ready to sing along to your favorite country hits.

“Drinking Town With A Football Problem” – Billy Currington

To start off your tailgate party, put on some Billy Currington and bond over the fact that you all have a deep love for football (or that you are just there for the food!). Everyone’s gathered on Friday night for the same reason! No matter who you are, you’re all cheering for the same team – hopefully. Go out and win!

“That’s My Kind Of Night” – Luke Bryan

This is arguably one of the best Luke Bryan songs of all time. It’s upbeat and will definitely get you pumped up for the game and keep your party rolling. You don’t even need a sun tan skirt and boots or big black jacked up truck to love this song!

“Raised On It” – Sam Hunt

Grab your ready ice. Whether you’re burning a CD with this jam on it or playing it through the aux cord, this song needs to be on your tailgate playlist. It was released in the fall season and is a feel good tune. This track gets bonus points because Sam Hunt played college football.

“Somethin’ Bout A Truck” – Kip Moore

Okay, so you don’t need to have a truck to tailgate. This song about a truck is a great one to sing along with, though. Kip Moore is also singing about a girl, so grab your significant other and make them dance along with you. If you don’t have a significant other, maybe go for another beer?!

“Am I The Only One” – Dierks Bentley

This song will kick your party pooper friends into shape. You know the ones you have to physically drag to the game because they don’t understand sports? If you have to, just put on this song and guilt trip them. Dierks Bentley gets it!

“Red Solo Cup” – Toby Keith

Red Solo Cups are great for any occasion! Toby Keith will tell you that. For all of you college kids, they are cheap and disposable. These cups work great for beer pong, or if you want to write your name on the cup. It’s multi-purposeful and this song about them is just too catchy to pass up.

“American Kids” – Kenny Chesney

This song isn’t specifically about football, but football is an All-American sport. What better song to dance along to than Kenny Chesney’s “American Kids?”

“Parking Lot Party” – Lee Brice

Lee Brice is explicitly talking about how great tailgating is in this song. Don’t you agree with him?! Win or lose, you’ll have a great time hearing this song long before the coin toss.

“Toes” – Zac Brown Band

So you might not have your toes in the water, but every pre-game party needs some Zac Brown Band. This is an easy going song that everyone will like. Be warned: it could make you want to leave the tailgate and go on vacation ASAP.

“Wagon Wheel” – Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker’s version of “Wagon Wheel” is the ultimate tailgate classic. This will have you reminiscing… ahhh, college.
