Marriage is in the air for Blake Shelton, so get that “Wedding March” song pumping on the organ because someone’s tying the knot in his new video for “I’ll Name the Dogs.”

Although Shelton may be loved up in his own private life, he took on the role of the wedding singer at a gorgeous informal affair with a romantic lead-up. Filtering through the intimate moments of getting ready behind closed doors and reminiscing memories with loved ones, the bride and groom prepare themselves gracefully for their futures ahead of them.

Flower petals and adorable furry friends walk the aisle as Shelton sings the sweet lyrics of a life lived together forever. The plot twist reveals itself in its own unexpected yet heart-melting manner as the couple tying the knot isn’t the young 20-somethings, but rather two elderly folks making their dream come true in front of their closest confidantes.

Guests celebrate the nuptials by dancing along to the last chorus of Shelton’s single and he happily leads them off to enjoy spending the rest of their carefree lives with one another.

While Shelton may not play the groom in the staged wedding, some eyebrows get raised over if his latest single represents his outlook on his love life. No signs aim toward any new steps in his relationship with fellow music artist Gwen Stefani, but fans of the pair could only hope this music video points toward the next step.

Shelton’s new single marks the first piece of music that he has released to fans since his album, If I’m Honest, which produced hits such as “Every Time I Hear That Song,” “Came Here to Forget” and more.

“I’ll Name the Dogs” is currently available to purchase or stream online. Shelton will return as a coach on the new season of NBC’s The Voice, premiering on Monday, September 25, at 8 p.m. EST.
