Blake Shelton To Release New Album, ‘If I’m Honest’
After premiering his brand new single, “Came Here To Forget,” this morning, Country superstar Blake Shelton is revealing plans to release his much-anticipated new album.
Dropping May 20, If I’m Honest, marks Shelton’s 12th studio release.
“This is the most excited I’ve been about a new album since the release of my second record,” the Oklahoma native said in statement to the press.
The album will include “Came Here To Forget,” which shot to the No.1 slot on iTunes upon its release this morning. “I’ve had a lot of music over the years, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a song before that’s such a direct look into my life,” Shelton said when the single was announced.
If I’m Honest is the follow-up to Shelton’s Bringing Back The Sunshine, which was released in September 2014.
