We all have a choice when we wake up in the morning: fight until we make it or give up when things get hard. The message of pushing forward no matter your circumstances is one Bobby Bones reiterates in his new book, Fail Until You Don’t: Fight. Grind. Repeat.

Thanks to the support of his legion of fans, Bones’ how-to book debuted at No.1 on the New York Times Best Seller list, marking his second time on the list.

“I tried to think of something cool to say. But I’m not cool. Thank you all for caring. About me. About my/our message. About each other,” he wrote on Instagram. “I am so appreciative. Bobby Estell, from Mountain Pine, Arkansas (pop 772) now has 2 Number 1 New York Times bestsellers. To all the Bobby Estells out there in their small towns, trying to figure out their place and their worth and how they can help others … this ones for you.”

In addition to his own anecdotes of persistence and perseverance, Bones enlisted the help of some of his famous friends, including Brooklyn Decker, Charlamagne Tha God, Andy Roddick and Chris Stapleton, among others, for their advice on overcoming failure and finding success in their own lives.

“I wrote this book to be the opposite of Instagram. On Instagram, you look and see all the beautiful things people are doing all of the time,” Bones said in an interview with People. “I wrote this book to show the opposite: most of life is not about all the wins, actually most of life is the rough spots and failures that get us to the wins.”
