Over the course of his career, Brad Paisley has had numerous high profile celebrities featured in his music videos. Back in 2007, the singer release “Online” with an accompanying video that starred Jason Alexander, Maureen McCormick, William Shatner and Estelle Harris. He also featured his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley in 2002’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song).”

But in Paisley’s latest video for his single “Last Time For Everything,” a familiar face from the 80’s plays a part in the clip.

“There’s a little cameo from David Hasselhoff in it which is fantastic. He’s awesome by the way,” the West Virginia native said recently.

But how did they get “The Hoff” to join in? Well…

“What happened was I was filming using the Knight Rider car we had rented that. We are driving it up and down the coast and he got wind that we were out there doing that and he lived near there and he said you know I’m a fan I’d like to come out and say hi,” Paisley explained. “I said while you’re at it bring your leather jacket and the next thing you know he did he came and we did some stuff with it and you will see how it pays off in the end. He is everything that I hoped he would be. He’s a blast. I told him for several years as a kid I wore a leather jacket and cowboy boots and jeans everyday no matter how hot it was because that’s what Michael Knight wore.”

Knight Rider wasn’t the only classic 80’s stereotype the iconic singer featured in the video. Many of the in-between cuts are footage from when he was growing up back then.

“We threw the kitchen sink at this video. The video is done all with VHS and a lot of it’s my actual yearbook VHS that they made when I graduated and you’ll see me graduating and you’ll see us dancing. I mean, my God, the prom stuff’s classic and the hair-do’s were criminal,” shared Paisley.

“Last Time For Everything” is Paisley’s follow-up to his No.1 smash “Today” and is the second single from his new album Love and War, out now.
