Brooke Eden is starting off her Labor Day weekend with a bang by announcing the release of her new single, “Diamonds.”

The track brings the fun and youthful vibe of growing up in a small town and embodies that spirit in a country way that is personal to Eden and her upbringing. As someone who lived in a place where everyone knew everyone, she can totally relate to the song’s theme.

“I grew up in a small town. On the weekends we couldn’t necessarily have house parties because they would get shut down even before it started because of noise complaints. Instead, we would drive out to the woods and hang out using the headlights from our cars as lights. All the girls would get real dressed up and we’d listen to music and dance around in the headlights ‘shining like diamonds,’” Eden explained about the song, which she helped co-write.

Going along with the big news, the song will also be featured on episode four of Tyler Perry’s television series, Too Close to Home. Eden is no stranger to this show as she also lent her voice to the theme song of the series as chosen by Perry himself.

“Diamonds” is available on digital music retailers and streaming services now.
