You never know who will pop up to sing the National Anthem at a Nashville Predators game!

Monday night (April 17) fans were surprised when superstar Carrie Underwood took the ice to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” ahead of game three of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Predators and the Chicago Blackhawks.

Donning her husband’s jersey and blue and gold finger nail polish for the occasion, the seven-time GRAMMY winner delivered a flawless rendition of the National Anthem for the sold-out Bridgestone Arena crowd.

The Nashville Predators went on to secure their third win in the series Monday night, beating the Blackhawks 3-2.

After the game, Underwood shared a video of the exuberant hometown crowd soaking in the Preds’ big win.

Game four of the series is slated to take place Thursday, April 20 in Nashville.
