Chris Carmack Proud of Music on ‘Nashville’

Even after releasing his own EP in December, Chris Carmack still gets excited about the original music created and made for the ABC series, Nashville. What some viewers may not know is that all of the songs on the show have a special tie to the city itself and capture the authenticity behind the music industry in town.

“The way we do music on the show is very cool, and what’s special about the show is we’re kinda tied into the Nashville community,” Carmack explained. “I mean, we’re working with Nashville songwriters, we’re working with Nashville producers and it’s very organic.”

Carmack also said he feels as if the music played on Nashville is real and not just forced by the show’s creators.

“The way the music happens on our show feels very much like the way music might happen on a specific country album, and I feel like because they’re so intertwined that’s why you get such an organic and finished sounding music on the show.”

Every season has released its own soundtrack with hits featuring cast members Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Lennon & Maisy and others. Nashville is currently on its hiatus until March when it will come back on ABC with new episodes. Until then, fans will just have to anxiously await the music that they, and Carmack, are all proud of.
