Just when fans thought the song, “Jolene,” could not get any better, a collaboration between Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus and Pentatonix blew the classic country hit out of the water with their stellar performance of the track on Tuesday night’s episode of The Voice (Nov. 29).

With background track vocals from the pop a cappella group, Parton and Cyrus traded off line by line while ultimately harmonizing together on the almighty chorus everyone knows and loves. The chemistry between the country legend and her pop icon Goddaughter was unmatched as they both drove their passions for the song within their competing riffs.

The electrifying take on the country classic got the audience bopping their heads and clapping along as the artists brought the song up to its glory as one of the most famous tracks among Parton’s overflowing catalogue of music throughout her iconic career.

Parton was featured on the episode alongside co-star and fellow country artist, Jennifer Nettles, to perform a couple tracks despite the tragedy of wildfires raging through her native East Tennessee home. Although her heart must have been back with the people of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Parton still managed to give one of the many memorable vocal performances of her career alongside the pop greats she sang with.

Check out Parton’s amazing performance of ‘Jolene’ with Cyrus and Pentatonix from The Voice and be sure not to miss an episode of the television reality competition program as it airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET.
