Exclusive: Cole Swindell Premieres Bonus Video for ‘Party Wasn’t Over’

The party isn’t over in Cole Swindell’s bonus video for “Party Wasn’t Over” on his new album, You Should Be Here.

Sounds Like Nashville has the exclusive premiere of this new video featuring a behind-the-scenes look of the making of the bonus track. Throughout the video, fans get an inside look from each black-and-white scene of the production process Swindell and his team go through to make a song just like this one.

The video goes back and forth between scenes of the ‘making of’ and clips of Swindell passionately singing as he walks through a brick-walled loft apartment. The scenes of Swindell alone in the apartment mirror the sad and lonely theme that the song conceptualizes in its lyric.

“Party Wasn’t Over” was co-written by Swindell, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line and Canaan Smith. The guys turned out a song worthy of a good time, with strong guitars and a hip-hop infused beat in the underlying track. Swindell takes the big song and makes it his own, singing the lyric with his strong vocal.
