Gary Allan Releases ‘Hangover Tonight’ Music Video

Gary Allan recently released the music video for his latest single, “Hangover Tonight.” The song, which he co-wrote with Chris Stapleton, Jesse Frasure and Carey Barlowe, is the lead single from his forthcoming album.

Allan is thrilled to have the song hit the radio, and is ready for fans to hear his new sound.

“I feel like it’s the fourth or fifth time we’ve re-invented myself, or I have, or just trying to push myself to do different things,” the singer shares. “I feel like I’ve pushed myself into a very comfortable place for myself, because it’s kind of ‘50s and ‘60s Motown. It reminds me of when I did ‘Runaway,’ and things like that, so it was a very easy thing for me to do. I was in rockabilly bands my whole life, and to me, it was just a throwback to my youth writing with these guys. It was a lot of fun.”

The video, which can be viewed above, starts out in black and white an transitions to vibrant color. It features the California native getting a few last minute touches before walking onto set in a production studio. The singer then picks up his guitar and starts to sing “Hangover Tonight.”

Fans can catch Gary Allan on the road this weekend in Stockdale, TX (6/19), Grand Prairie, TX (6/20), and New Orleans, LA (6/22).
