You can’t help but feel the good vibes and good times when you sit back and watch Jake Owen’s new music video for his smash “Good Company.”
Fully embracing his Florida upbringing, Owen boards a private jet with a few of his closest buddies and head down down for some bro time in the sand and sun. The men set off for wild adventures while deep sea fishing, bar hopping and some hang time with of the locals.
While Owen is creating some good memories in the salty sea air, the song originated in a city far from the balmy sea air and traveled across the country during its inception.
“When I tell you, I worked on that song all over this country, I’m literately not kidding,” Owen explained. “We worked on it in Puyallup, Washington, in a backstage dressing room, we worked on it in the back of a tour bus, we worked on it at my house in my studio, but at the end of the day, I think we captured what it feels like, and the soundtrack, to being with your good friends, and good company and creating great memories, and that’s what it’s all about!”
The singer will continue to celebrate with his “Good Company” as the song continues to climb the country radio charts just in time for summer. Owen will take the tune out on the road for fans when he starts his Good Company World Tour in the fall, hitting arenas and theaters across the United States and Canada, before heading to Europe in 2018.
