Just weeks after claiming the coveted title of Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards for the second consecutive year, Jason Aldean has found himself celebrating another impressive feat with his chart-topping song “Any Ol’ Barstool.”

The song hit No.1 on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts, marking Aldean’s 19th time in the top slot.

“‘Any Ol Barstool’ brought that classic Country vibe I grew up on, so it’s pretty cool to me that my fans and Country radio took it to No. 1,” Aldean said in a press release. “We’ve worked up big moments around ‘Barstool’ and ’They Don’t Know’ and it’s made me even more ready to get back out on the road and see the fans.”

As a thank you to fans, Aldean has revealed that the follow-up to “Any Ol’ Barstool” will be the title track of his seventh studio album They Don’t Know.

“When I first heard the song it really made me think about how rural communities can come across misunderstood. It’s a classic scenario in movies, a Hollywood producer films in small towns and packs in every stereotype you can imagine,” he explained. “This song wraps all those feelings together perfectly and basically says not to judge a book by its cover. I relate to that growing up in the backwoods of Georgia.”

The Georgia native will return to the road this week with his They Don’t Know Tour, kicking off in Toledo, OH on April 27. Aldean is joined by special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver.
