Jenna Renae Stuns On ‘American Idol’ with Eric Paslay Song

Since she was 15-years-old, Jenna Renae has been watching American Idol. With the final year upon us, there was no better time than the present to audition and follow her dreams.

The 23-year-old New York native chose to sing Eric Paslay’s “She Don’t Love You” for judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.

“Jenna, I think you’re a very soulful young woman and I thought it was a terrific performance. Really good,” Connick started.

Lopez agreed, adding “I feel like a lot of the people that have come in today, we haven’t felt like a performer… giving us that whole package, and I feel like you did.”

“It’s funny, like to my ear, you don’t sound like you grew up singing country. It sounds like you grew up with other music. What music was in your house?” Urban asked, being told anywhere between Broadway and Country. “I like you,” he concluded.

Renae will make her way to the competitive Hollywood Week. What did you think of her audition?
