Kane Brown Earns New Guinness World Record Title

Kane Brown always knocks down doors in country music, but this time, he’s setting records as the Georgia native just received recognition with a Guinness World Record title.

The singer didn’t just sell a lot of albums or stream his songs the most amount of times; Brown was honored by the Guinness World Records organization for being the First Act to Top Five U.S. Country Charts simultaneously. All at once, Brown reached the best slot on the Top Country Albums chart for his deluxe edition record, Country Digital Song Sales chart for “Heaven,” and Country Airplay, Hot Country Songs and Country Streaming Songs for “What Ifs” with Lauren Alaina.

Celebrating the award in Nashville, Brown couldn’t believe he was the one to hold the crown in that category.

“It feels awesome to be a Guinness World Records title holder and to be the first artist to achieve this with Billboard. I remember being in elementary and middle school and looking at the books for all of the records, and I can’t believe my name gets to be in there now,” Brown said of the accomplishment.

Time and time again, Brown proves every one of his successes by gaining fans every day through his dynamic approach to his sound. He’ll show it off even more when he hits the road later this year with Chris Young on the Losing Sleep World Tour.

Brown’s current single, “Heaven,” is out on country radio now.
