The live performance we’ve been waiting for all year has finally happened: Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood have finally sang “The Fighter” together on stage live during a show on the New Zealand and Australian leg of the Ripcord Tour.

Kicking off the first night of nine shows they are playing together down under, Urban thought it would be cheeky to bring out his ‘Fighter’ partner-in-crime for the showstopping number that got the whole audience at their Saturday concert in New Zealand dancing and singing along.

Creating that dynamic chemistry between the two country superstars, they traded the lyrics back and forth between one another and didn’t skip a beat when it came to their stellar performance vocals during the live debut of the album cut.

While “The Fighter” has remained simply a fan favorite in the States, it was actually released a radio single over in Australia and New Zealand, and climbed its way up the charts. Most fans, though, got behind the tune when Urban and his wife, Nicole Kidman, created the viral video of them lip-synching the track to each other while in the car one day. The romantic moment garnered 52 million views on Facebook alone from fans who were swooning over their dedicated relationship goals.

Check out the live performance of Urban and Underwood bringing “The Fighter” to the stage and be sure to listen to the song on Urban’s latest record, Ripcord, now.
