Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood will be giving fans some insight to their family history later this summer.

The singers are taking part in TLC’s new show, “Who Do You Think You Are?” (the show formerly aired on NBC).

“Who Do You Think You Are?” invites celebrities to research their roots and trace their ancestry. In the upcoming season, both Clarkson and Yearwood go on emotional journeys as they learn about their family trees.

“I’ve never stopped hearing about how much people love ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ and I’ve always known that we’ve had more great stories to share,” said Lisa Kudrow, Executive Producer in a press release. “TLC is a great home for the series, and we join our excited celebrity participants as we unearth some amazing background and surprising histories.”

Clarkson and Yearwood aren’t the only Country singers linked to the show. Previous seasons of “Who Do You Think You Are?” have featured featured Reba, Tim McGraw and Lionel Richie.

The new season, which will consist of eight one-hour episodes, will feature Clarkson and Yearwood, as well as Christina Applegate, Cindy Crawford, Zooey Deschanel, Jim Parsons, Chelsea Handler and Chris O’Donnell.

Fans can tune into “Who Do You Think You Are?” starting Wednesday, July 23 at 9|8c on TLC. To learn more about the show, click HERE.
