Kenny Chesney Debuts ‘Save It For A Rainy Day’ Music Video

Following three consecutive chart-topping hits from his latest album, The Big Revival, Kenny Chesney is back at country radio with “Save It For a Rainy Day.”

The song was written by Andrew Dorff along with two members of the new hit group, Old Dominion, Matthew Ramsey and Brad Tursi.

Chesney hopes that the song will inspire his fans to realize it’s okay to forget about your troubles every now and then.

“‘Save It for a Rainy Day’ — I felt like that the message of the song was very important, because I have been the person in this song now…a lot,” the Tennessee native admits. “And I think that if you set in negativity too long, or whatever’s bothering you or whatever’s kind of weighin’ down your life — whether it’s, you know, all the anxiety and the stress, you know — I think if you set in all that too long, you can become it. It can become your life — and that’s not good (laughs), you know?”
