The pop-country collaboration we all didn’t know we needed in life has finally been released by Florida Georgia Line for fans to get a listen.

Months ago, the country duo announced that they would be releasing a few collaboration songs on their new record, Dig Your Roots. But one of the unexpected tracks called for Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard to rewind back to the early 2000s and work with the almighty boyband, the Backstreet Boys.

The track, which features both country and contemporary elements, gives time for both groups to show off their vocals while also proclaiming their devoted love to their significant others. Kelley and Hubbard posted a video on Instagram explaining the inspiration behind the song and why they were immediately drawn to its meaning.

“‘God, Your Mama, and Me’ is just such a well-written song. A song that when we heard it, we fell in love with it. We never really heard it said that way, you know, and heard it put that way, but it’s so true and that’s how we felt about our wives and just naturally drawn to that song,” Hubbard said in the clip.

Many of the songs from Dig Your Roots mirrored the admiration the country guys had for their wives and fans are ready in anticipation to hear more of the unreleased tracks when the album releases on August 26.

Those interested in pre-ordering the album can do so on digital music distributors now. Some of the tracks including “God, Your Mama, and Me,” and Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “May We All,” with Tim McGraw are available for listening now on streaming services.
