Jake Owen sees summer on the horizon with the release of his brand new single, “Good Company,” hitting the radio airwaves.

Banking on his beachy sound, Owen embodies what the warmer weather will bring throughout every easygoing lyric. Bopping along as the kind of tune one might hear at a bonfire beach party, the country singer grooves with the laidback guitar strumming as he paints the picture of a relaxed kickback during the sunniest time of the year.

With lyrics like, Yeah, I’ll play your favorite song / The cooler’s down to the last drop / But it won’t last that way long / ‘Cause Tommy’s making a beer run / So baby, come on,” Owen is bringing the good vibes along with him to the casual hang with no worries on his mind. He even gets a tad cheeky with the acronym, B.Y.O.B., by changing it from its original term of ‘bring your own beer’ to ‘bring yourself over, babe.’

“Good Company” follows up Owen’s emotional track, “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You,” featuring fellow country star, Chris Stapleton. The song also marks the third single off of Owen’s latest project, American Love, which sent out the massive hit, “American Country Love Song.”
