All you need is love, according to Jerrod Niemann in his new single, “God Made a Woman.”
Calling the slow, passionate track “my favorite song I’ve ever recorded,” Niemann praises the special lady in his life with beautiful lyrics that embody the idea of what love should really be like. Taking a spin from his typical rocking/drinking songs, “God Made a Woman” shows fans the husband and family side of Niemann that he hopes will resonate with listeners on a deeper level.
“You realize really quickly that the weight of the world is easier to hold with two sets of shoulders,” says Niemann about the new track. “That’s what I think about when I listen to this song.”
“God Made a Woman” is the first listen to what’s in store for Niemann’s forthcoming record, which has yet to have announce a release date or title. Nevertheless, it shows off the depth and the passion that the country singer is aiming toward for his next album.
Niemann will take “God Made a Woman,” as well as his other fan favorites to perform some solo shows throughout the next couple weeks before playing the ACM Pool Party for a Cause in April. Fans can find out more information about the song and tour on his website.
