Maren Morris will soon be crooning about matters of the heart and a search for hope when her song “I Could Use A Love Song” hits country radio on March 13. The song is the third single from her critically-acclaimed debut album Hero, following “80s Mercedes” and her Top 5 smash, “My Church.”

The poignant track has the Texas native singing that she might get the perspective she needs after listening to a song that touches her heart and soul and makes her appreciate love again.

“I could use a love song / That takes me back, just like that / When it comes on / To a time when I wouldn’t roll my eyes / At a guy and a girl / Who make it work in a world / That for me so far just seems to go so wrong / Yeah I could use, I could use a love song,” she sings in the song she co-wrote alongside Laura Veltz and Jimmy Robbins.

The GRAMMY-winning artist first shared that “I Could Use A Love Song” would hit radio when she performed at last week’s New Faces Show during the 2017 Country Radio Seminar. Morris was the only female on the bill that also included Jon Pardi, Granger Smith, William Michael Morgan and Drake White.

The Texas native will continue taking her music out on the road to fans as part of her HERO Tour 2017, with sold-out stops this week in Springfield, IL (March 3) and Louisville, KY (March 4). She’ll then return to the United Kingdom for the C2C (Country to Country) Music Festival on March 10, 11 and 12.
