It’s here! Miranda Lambert has finally debuted her anxiously-awaited new single, “Vice.”

The singer has spent the last week teasing the project, which is the lead single from her upcoming record. The track was co-written by Lambert and Grammy award-winning songwriters Shane McAnally (“Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye”) and Josh Osborne (“John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Top of the World”).

“I just hope that everybody that hears it can kind of feel like they’re not on an island. That we all have things in our life that aren’t necessarily pleasant to talk about, but this song is just as honest as you can get about emotions and letting raw emotions just live where they live until you move on to a happier place,” the Texas native said in a video posted to Facebook shortly after the song’s premiere.

“It’s kind of the cycle of life. We can’t all be sunshine and roses every day and sometimes when we’re not, we find things that make us feel better at the moment and that’s what a vice is,” she continued. “I think when you go through something in your life that’s hard, you learn what you run to and what you run from and sometimes, that comes full circle. It’s a very clear image of somebody that’s willing to just lay it all out there and be honest. No one’s heard music from me in awhile and it just  felt like the perfect song to lead off with because it’s just me being who I am.”

“Vice” was produced by Frank Liddell, Glenn Worf and Eric Masse.

Lambert’s new single is at Country radio now. Fans can purchase the track on iTunes HERE.
