Listen to Miranda Lambert’s New Song, ‘Keeper of the Flame’

“I’m bent but I’m not broken / I’m stronger than I feel / I’m made of flesh and bone / not made of steel,” she sings delicately over the rhythmic guitar track.

Miranda Lambert is finding hope and enlightenment through the power of song with her latest released track, “Keeper of the Flame.”

The song, which is featured on her forthcoming two-disc album, The Weight of These Wings, focuses on the positivity she found after fighting through trying times. Possibly drawing the theme back to her past relationship struggles and walking out of the circumstances with a high head on her shoulders, Lambert uses the simplistic anthem to channel the bright side over a tough time and yet recognizes her weaknesses within.

“I’m bent but I’m not broken / I’m stronger than I feel / I’m made of flesh and bone / not made of steel,” she sings delicately over the rhythmic guitar track.

Lambert brought the title of the track as the name of her tour over the summer, in which she hit the road with Brothers Osborne and Kip Moore for a precursor to the next step in her music path.

“Keeper of the Flame” is one of the 24 tracks featured on her new album, The Weight of These Wings, which is set to release on November 18.
