Listen to Zac Brown Band’s New Song, ‘Real Thing’

Zac Brown Band took their sound back to the authentic country spirit in their new song, “Real Thing.”

Reminding their fans of when they first came on to the scene, the true-to-self track rolls in with a simplistic piano lead to later be followed up with their classic guitar chops as the verses progress. Moving from whiskey to falling in love, Zac Brown Band lets it be known that it never gets better than the original staple.

“And you can’t go back once you get a taste / Everything is second rate / I’m talking genuine Made in the USA / Ain’t nothing like the real thing,” Brown sings throughout each chorus, reiterating the fact that authenticity is absolutely priceless at the end of the day, no matter what you’re talking about.

“Real Thing” is from the GRAMMY-winning band’s forthcoming album, Welcome Home. The group revealed they were heading back to their core values and deep roots that they channeled on their first couple records to revive a feeling of nostalgia toward their past successes.
