Little Big Town, Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly and Andra Day combined vocal power for a stellar collaborative performance of several Bee Gees hits during the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

The performance began with Lovato, who showcased her powerhouse vocals with the hit “Stayin’ Alive,” before being joined by Tori Kelly for “Tragedy.” After several verses of the song, Kelly departed for Lovato to pick up “Stayin’ Alive” again and lead into Little Big Town’s cover of “How Deep Is Your Love.” The quartet traded off vocals before introducing Andra Day’s stint with “Night Fever.”

The performance was a teaser to the much-anticipated event, Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees. The concert will serve as a celebration for the 40th anniversary of the group’s Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Bee Gees co-founder Barry Gibb will be on hand to perform some of the songs from the album, which was crowned Album of the Year at the 21st Annual GRAMMY Awards in 1979.

“We worked with Ken Ehrlich and the team over there at the Grammys just to kind of brainstorm about songs, but it was our first choice from our brainstorming – ‘How Deep Is Your Love’,” LBT’s Karen Fairchild recently told Sounds Like Nashville and other Nashville media. “We thought, ‘Somebody probably already took it.’ I mean, it’s just a great song. They didn’t, so that’s going to be our moment. We’ve been working it up for the last week or so. We’ll go into rehearsals right around the GRAMMYs and get it all worked out. There’s a string section and everything. It’s really going to be beautiful.”

“We’ve been listening through all the classic ones, but yeah. We were thankful we got to do this one, ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, just because it’s beautiful chord structure it’s so just designed for harmonies and weaving parts,” added Phillip Sweet.

Tickets for the Feb. 14 taping of Stayin’ Alive: A GRAMMY Salute To The Music Of The Bee Gees are available on axs.com and ticketing@grammy.com. The special will broadcast on CBS later this year.
