With a reflective performance, Luke Bryan’s “Fast” made its award show debut during the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 2).

Encapsulated in a mirror box providing the illusion of multiple Bryan’s (we wish!) and infinite decorative vintage light bulbs, the country singer looked relaxed in jeans and a t-shirt while performing centerstage with his guitar. The ACM co-host’s vocals were on point throughout the entire performance as he sang the newly minted No. 1 single.

“Sand through the glass sure falls in a hurry/And all you keep trying to do is slow it down, soak it in/Keep trying to make the good times last as long as you can/But you can’t, man/It just goes too fast,” Bryan serenaded the crowd.

He is up for the show’s top prize this year, Entertainer of the Year. If he wins, it will be Bryan’s third time taking home the trophy.
