Maggie Rose gets real about the meaning of self-love in the music video for her current single, “Love Me More.”

Portraying a woman who finds herself getting caught up in the chaos of a crazy night out, the girl loses her way as she downs more beers than she can handle and falls victim to the vices that help her mind escape reality. Realizing as she cries in the bar bathroom that she’s worth more than a sloppy hangover or an “accidental” text to the wrong boy, she holds her head up high as in the end, she walks away confident within her ability to be strong.

As Rose hopes the song spells out for listeners, the track is all about figuring out how worthwhile life is supposed to be for everyone and that everyone matters here. It goes beyond the flaws and mistakes one makes in a life to understand that there is something greater within one’s self.

“The song, ‘Love Me More,’ is about being unapologetic. It’s about accepting your flaws and recognizing your own beauty. I want people to hear this song and realize that without loving yourself, it’s impossible to fully love others,” she explained about the single and the video.

“Love Me More” is Rose’s current single off of her EP, The Variety Show, Vol. 1, which is available now.
