Not many artists could hold an entire arena’s attention while performing on stage with just a guitar and a song, but Miranda Lambert isn’t just any artist.

The ACM nominee acoustically debuted “Tin Man” from her most recent album, The Weight of These Wings, on the 52nd annual award show. Clad in black and fringe, Lambert delivered an emotional performance that left her vulnerable while still sounding pitch perfect.

She put the entire crowd in a trance, including Reba McEntire and Ronnie Dunn who were shown swaying along. The audience rose to their feet for a standing ovation by the time she was finished.

By the way there Mr. Tin Man/If you don’t mind the scars/You give me your armor/And you can have my heart,” the singer crooned before stepping back with a bashful smile.

Lambert is up for five awards at this year’s show, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. You can catch her perform more tunes on the road this summer as she continues her headlining Highway Vagabond Tour.
