Every artist finds their muse, and Keith Urban has one of the most beautiful ones around thanks to his wife and actress, Nicole Kidman.

Seeking inspiration from his daily life, Urban consistently looks to Kidman throughout the process of making his music and writing lyrics for his projects. Loving someone as gorgeous on the inside and outside as Kidman makes the creative process a breeze, no matter what’s going on within their relationship.

Kidman reciprocates the love and support she feels towards her husband’s art, especially when it came to his latest hit featuring Carrie Underwood called “The Fighter.” When Urban admitted that she was the focal point of the song’s message, Kidman felt honored to be admired in that manner.

“I remember when he first played it for me, and I started to cry because … he writes these things — they come out of I don’t know — and they’re like beautiful gifts,” Kidman said to People.

Blending together the stellar voices of Urban and Underwood made for a dynamic hit honoring Kidman’s spirit, but there was a brief moment of worry that the track wouldn’t make the cut in time to go on Ripcord if Underwood backed out.

“I would have thought of somebody quick,” Urban admitted. “I would have had to have thought of somebody quick. I think if Carrie said no, we were set with the schedule and everything, we would have just had to leave that song off the record. That would have given me time to find the right person. I wouldn’t rush the wrong person in there just to make a record. Thank goodness she said yes.”

“The Fighter” is playing on country radio now.
