Rascal Flatts Shares Key To Their Success

Whether someone likes country, pop or adult contemporary music, they’ve probably heard a Rascal Flatts song or two playing on the radio. That’s all because the group has made a point to make relatable songs that everyone can get into.

Rascal Flatts has had some major success throughout their 15-year career, releasing hits like “Fast Cars and Freedom,” “Bless the Broken Road,” and most recently, their single, “I Like The Sound of That.” Gary LeVox attributes their great career to the type of music they focus on making.

“We’ve worked really, really hard on writing and recording songs that, not only, we’ve lived, or means something to us, but we would cut and record and write songs that are real, and truthful,” he said.

The band is currently gearing up for a quick stint in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, as well as working on a follow-up album to Rewind. Sticking to their honest approach, Rascal Flatts plans to keep making cool music that anyone can relate to.

“From start to finish, our lyric and our songs have been so universal that it doesn’t matter if you’re a country fan, or a pop fan, or a rock fan, most people that listen to country music listen to it for the stories and the song, and I think that we’ve been able to tell a lot of people’s stories in our country, and around the world.”
