Just days after celebrating their 16th No.1 song, Rascal Flatts is celebrating another momentous occasion. The superstar trio is marking the 10th Anniversary of ESPN’s “My Wish” series with a brand new version of their chart-topping song of the same name.

“We thought it was a good idea to recut the song just because music has evolved over the last ten years that it’s been out,” said Gary LeVox in an interview with ESPN. “So we cut it live with our band and kind of brought it up to date musically on kind of what’s happening. Just give it a new, fresher spin.”

The original track has played numerous times over the years as kids experience their dreams coming true with the help of the Make-A-Wish foundation.

“Make-A-Wish is really near and dear to our hearts because we’ve been involved with them ever since day one. We meet probably one Make-A-Wish kid a weekend out here on tour,” explained the group’s Jay DeMarcus.

Rascal Flatts’ will talk more about the ‘My Wish’ series during an interview that will air tonight on ESPN’s SportsCenter at 6pm ET. Fans can watch the interview ahead of time above.
